Kayak Hoffler Creek at Sunset | Sports & Recreation
Portsmouth: Hoffler Creek Wildlife Foundation will host a sunset kayak tour on Saturday, June 25, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hoffler Creek Wildlife Preserve. Coast Guard Commander Mark Gordon will lead the tour. Guests will experience the beauty of Hoffler Creek at sunset, one of the best times for sighting birds and other wildlife.
Hoffler Creek Wildlife Foundation has four tandem and two single kayaks available for the event and will welcome personal kayaks. Participation is limited to eight boats. Pre-registration is required. HCWF will attempt to match individual registrants with boat-mates.
No previous kayaking experience is necessary. Each kayak must hold at least one person over 18. The weight limit per kayak is 450 pounds. Admission is $20/person for the public and $10/person for members of the foundation.
